A Weekend at the Seashore

We spent our Independence Day holiday weekend at the seashore at my honey’s parents amazing house on the bay. I am in love with the coastal vibe of the house, and the house is only a block away from the beach also. I couldn’t wait to get my toes in the sand!

Pictured is my trusty tote from a kate spade flash sale (similar here), floppy hat from J. Crew (similar here), Tory Burch flops and Polaroid sunnies

Here is a look at the swimsuit I wore, so patriotic! I will cover more on swimwear in an upcoming post, but this one is from Brickyard Buffalo, and sold out quickly! The cover up just screams summer, can can also be worn as a tunic with a bandeau bra over leggings. I picked that up from Wildfox at Zappos, and it is sold out, but here is a similar version, which is also adorable!

Life really is better in flip flops! See what I mean about the relaxing coastal vibes? These photos are from our room, and it is a really dreamy place, and so on trend with the aqua and mint color scheme! 😉

I even managed to coordinate with our room- obviously… I was also taking that “Relax” sign seriously, it is so nice just to veg out sometimes!!

Clearly Roxy was also in the mood to relax– what a little stinker! Such a personality on that dog– and boy does she love to be snuggled up under the blankets after a swim.

While we were outside, I indulged my inner photographer with some gorgeous shots of the flowers, and some really great shots of the awesome fireworks display. The location of the house on the bay allows us to view multiple towns’ fireworks displays at once, so it really is an exciting night!

What a show! Yea America!!! Don’t the shots with the brightly colored flag just inspire you?!

Last but not least, here is a great pic of my honey and I enjoying the evening – what a wonderful holiday weekend!

What did you do to celebrate America and #freedom this weekend?
