Hangover Cure Smoothie

It happens to the best of us: you wake up after a long night of drinking to a pounding head, parched mouth and sallow skin. You need to rehydrate, STAT, and put back in the moisture that too many drinks robbed you of. I have tested this recipe out, ehem, and it really helps. The restorative power of coconut water is unparalleled and the tropical additions of orange juice, banana and pineapple make it completely tasty. Once your head pounding subsides, pin this recipe for later, and try it yourself!

Hangover Cure Smoothie

INGREDIENTS
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup coconut water
splash coconut milk
1 frozen banana (about 1 cup frozen chunks
1/2 cup frozen pineapple

DIRECTIONS
1. Add all ingredients to blender. Start with your lowest setting, mine has 3, blend for about 30 seconds, and move to the next setting. After 30 seconds on each speed, blend for 2-3 minutes on the final speed until blended.
2. Let the coconut water work its magic on your dehydrated brain! Enjoy!
