Picture this: it’s Saturday night, you have no plans, your honey is out and there are some really good chick flicks on. Whatever is a girl to do?! I love to pamper myself with a face mask, a deep conditioning hair treatment, some aromatherapy candles, and by slathering a thick foot cream on and snuggling up with soft socks. When Pure & Essential Minerals sent over their Dead Sea Mud Mask, I was super excited to try it out! One of those lazy Saturday nights came up and I settled in with my mask, and watched “The Devil Wears Prada” while relaxing. Ahhhhh.

This mud mask comes in a large tub, so you are getting a generous amount of product. Plus you only need a heaping teaspoonful to cover your face. The mask glides on easily and feels tingly upon application. It feels really cooling and refreshing while on, and sets up pretty quickly.

After 5 minutes I washed the mask off, gently moving in circular motions over my face. After removing, my skin felt really bright and energized. I felt like the mask gave me a really deep clean, and a thorough smoothing. It was almost like I had new skin! I slathered on a nice moisturizer and I felt refreshed and relaxed for a nice evening in! I am a huge fan of this mud mask, and I strongly recommend picking some up to pamper yourself!

If you need further convincing, here is some more info on the Dead Sea Mud Mask from the Pure & Essential Minerals site:

If your skin is craving some deep nutrition and overall purification, a good Dead Sea mud mask can be just the right answer for you. The minerals found in Dead Sea mud mask have proven beautifying benefits and also have therapeutic effects. Since it is a natural skin care product, Dead Sea mud mask is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin types.

Here are 3 benefits of Dead Sea Mud Mask by Pure & Essential Minerals:

1. Dead Sea Mud Mask Removes Dead Skin Cells – the natural silica found in the black mud hardens on the skin once you apply the mask. This step allows the mask to extract toxins and impurities located deep in the skin layers, and also to attach to dead skin cells. After washing it all off the result is clear looking skin, with clean pores and even skin tone.

2. Dead Sea Mud Mask Can Help with Acne – thanks to its therapeutic effect, this mask is a real life saver if you suffer from acne, black heads and breakouts. Pure & Essential Minerals Dead Sea Mud Mask contains natural minerals like magnesium, calcium, sulphur, bromide, iodine, sodium, zinc and potassium, which are known to treat, detoxify, and cleanse the skin.

3. Dead Sea Mud Mask Stimulates Circulation – when blood circulation is poor it leads to an uneven skin tone, patches on the skin, and may even cause wrinkles. By applying a weekly facial mud mask you can dramatically increase blood flow to your skin cells and achieve a healthier and plumper looking skin.

Pure & Essential Minerals recommends applying a weekly mud mask for the best effect. I don’t think I will have any problem with this at all! I can’t wait for my next mud mask treatment! This mask is like a breath of fresh air for your face!
